Dusted With Sugar, a radio play
Time & Location
About the Event
In 'Dusted with Sugar', Pamela Lumsden is the ‘doyenne’ of the church community. On every committee, at every event and in the ear of every parishioner. She is the self-proclaimed baking champion of St Winifred’s In the Bush and, boy, is she cross! She’s convinced she is a victim of sabotage in this year’s bake off. Who would do such a thing?
The Reverend Julian Fanthorpe seems to float through life with a smile and a chuckle. The very epitome of a parish vicar. But is he as holy as he seems….?
Two characters you might find at any church fete, anywhere in England. But are they really what they seem? Bittersweet, or sweetbitter? It’s not always what you think.
Dusted With Sugar is written by Christina Balmer and produced by The XV Theatre Company. Technical Director: Matt Karmios. Featuring: Phyllis Logan, Fr Kevin Morris, Christina Balmer
